Eagles Coach Andy Reid To Host Mormon Symposium in Broomall

Philadelphia Eagles head coach Andy Reid is expected to be the masters of ceremonies at Sunday night's evening symposium about Mormonism at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Broomall.

BROOMALL–Philadelphia Eagles head coach Andy Reid won't be talking about football this Sunday. Instead, Reid will be hosting an evening symposium about Mormonism in Broomall.

The event will be sponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, located off of Paxon Hollow Road in Broomall at 7 p.m.

Reid will be the master of ceremonies of the "Who are the Mormons?" event, which will include guest speaker Ahmad S. Corbitt, director of the New York Office of Public and International Affairs for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and a special musical performance by Jack Livigni, a tenor at the New York Metropolitan Opera.

According to an article in Newsworks.org, the event is mainly an information symposium that will answer questions that people may have of the religion.

Reid "grew up a not-very-observant Lutheran, joining the Mormon church while playing football for Brigham Young University," according to Newsworks.
