Stars Come Out for Inside Golf Celebrity Scramble
A number of sports and golf celebrities from the Greater Philadelphia area will be in attendance on Tuesday, July 31 when the Inside Golf Celebrity Scramble presented by Yuengling will be held at Edgmont CC. The event will bring together the cast of Inside Golf, including show host Harry Donahue, with a number of their sports and golf friends for a fun day of golf with amateurs from the area.
"Inside Golf used to hold a celebrity tournament years ago and I am happy to see the event come back," said Donahue, now in his fourth season as host of Inside Golf.
The event is being coordinated, along with staff and management at Edgmont CC, by TL Golf Services, a leading company in golf promotion.

The Inside Golf Celebrity Scramble will begin with a 1 p.m. shotgun start. Lunch is available before play. The Inside Golf cameras will be rolling throughout the day of competition and the television show depicting the day of action at Edgmont will begin airing the week of Sunday, August 5.
One of the side competitions on the golf course will be a Beat the Host contest on Hole No. 10, hosted by Inside Golf regular Tony Leodora. Players will get the opportunity to beat Tony's tee shot on the par 3 hole, competing for a long list of prizes. Also, there will be a full set of clubs, courtesy of Razor Golf, for anyone who makes a hole-in-one on the 10th hole.
Immediately following golf, while the scoring for the day is recorded, there will be a trivia contest for guests with another long list of prizes. A complimentary happy hour appetizer buffet will be provided after golf.
The best part about the day is the price. Edgmont has designed the day as a thank you to all of its members and guests who play at the private club on West Chester Pike in Delaware County throughout the year. Price for non-members is only $55. Member prices are reduced from that.
"We have been very fortunate to have so many great golfers support us over the years," said Edgmont CC general manager Pam Mariani. "This is our way of saying thanks. We hope this will be a memorable and fun day for all involved."
