In Central League play, Marple Newtown wins in a battle of unbeaten teams.
The crushed the opposing Strath Haven Panthers in football Friday night. The Tigers got up on the scoreboard early and never looked back. They maintained donimance over the Panthers for a majority of the game, winning 24-7.
