BROOMALL–The kicked off this year's season Saturday, April 2, at its Opening Day ceremony. Players arrived in uniform at to prepare for the annual parade at 9 a.m.
Derek Ludwick read the Little League Pledge during the ceremony and the Tiger Tones of sang the national anthem. Reverend Karen Nelson of Marple Presbyterian Church and Howard Cylinder of threw out the ceremonial first pitches. Other activities throughout the day included free Rita's water ice, pretzels, coffee and music. Play ball, MTLL!
