NELL Turning 60 and Looking for Oldest Alumni

Newtown Edgmont Little League is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year.

NEWTOWN SQUARE–This year, the celebrates its 60th anniversary teaching youth baseball to boys and girls ages 5-12. Since 1952, thousands of boys and girls have learned to play baseball at NELL while also learning leadership, teamwork and responsibility to others.

Some of those NELL alumni are now in their mid-60s or 70s, and can boast of having played for NELL back in the early 1950s when NELL was founded in the community.

NELL is seeking players who have played from the 50s, or if you know someone who has played and who would be interested in standing on NELL's Field of Dreams on Opening Day, Saturday morning, April 21st, contact Bob Blaisse at 610-453-5536 or by email at Bob@NELLBaseball.com.
