South Marple Storm Looking For Local Softball Players

BROOMALL–South Marple Storm is looking for any 7-16 year olds that are looking for a fun softball league to join that live in the Broomall/Marple/Springfield areas.

(SMLL) and South Marple Storm are calling all local girls to join them for the 2012 season. South Marple Storm is opening up registrations to form more teams for their in-house leagues and have a few spots left on some of their teams in the DelVal League. Teams will be formed in mid-March.

Registration fees vary depending on age and whether a player has a uniform from last year. Ages 12 and under are sponsored by SMLL for their uniforms. Also, players will have the option of using the uniform purchased last year if they were on the 14 and under team or may be able to purchase a new uniform.

Registration fees are as follows:

Ages 12 & under–$125
Ages 13 & over & new uniform–$175
Ages 13 & over with existing uniform–$125 (black and purple uniform)

Registration fee includes: entrance into league, player uniforms (with new uniform selection, visor, pants, socks, jersey), field maintenance, umpire fees, one tournament registration (DelVal teams only), indoor facility practice (DelVal teams), hitting coach lesson (DelVal teams).

The Storm is actively seeking sponsors for their 2012 season. The Storm is asking anyone who owns a business for their help. Sponsorships help keep their fees at a competitive rate and also fund their equipment, uniforms, hitting instructions, indoor practices, and other league fees. 2012 Volunteers Needed:
