NEWTOWN SQUARE–The 2012 Pillsbury Bake-Off winner Christina Verrelli, of Devon, visited Summer @ EA teacher Allison Hayden’s cooking class on Wednesday, July 18th, to help students prepare her award-winning recipe of Pumpkin Ravioli with Salted Caramel Whipped Cream.
Verrelli’s recipe uses flaky crescent dough formed into ravioli which is then stuffed with a spiced cream cheese and pumpkin filling that is topped with a drizzle of caramel after baking and served with a spoonful of caramel-laced whipped cream as a finishing touch.
