Verrelli’s recipe uses flaky crescent dough formed into ravioli which is then stuffed with a spiced cream cheese and pumpkin filling that is topped with a drizzle of caramel after baking and served with a spoonful of caramel-laced whipped cream as a finishing touch.

This recipe not only won the contest but also won in the contest’s Sweet Treats category. Hayden and her students were thrilled with the recipe and enjoyed the results of their baking efforts.
