In observance of Fourth of July, celebrating America's 237th birthday, the following businesses are open for the federal holiday. So while most government offices and some businesses may close on this day, some do not.

- Broomall Beverage: Open
- Wine & Spirits: Closed
- TD Bank: Open until 1 p.m.
- Most local banks in the area will be closed
Grocery/Restaurants/Speciality Stores
- Wawa: Open
- Acme: Open
- Giant: Open
- Gentile's Produce Market: Open 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday
- Country Squire Diner: Open
- Christopher Chocolates: Open Thursday during the parade but closed Friday, July 5 through Sunday, July 7
