ONCE AGAIN, WE GET THE CHANCE TO SAY…

ONCE AGAIN, WE GET THE CHANCE TO SAY…

THANK YOU! On Saturday, November 2, many members of the Emergency Services throughout Delaware County honored our WWII Veterans returning from a tour of the monuments, most notably, their monument in Washington, D.C.

Waiting for the veteran’s caravan to arrive at the Welcome Center on the Pennsylvania side of the Pa. /Del. border were Pa. State Troopers, representatives from the Sheriff’s Department, Fire Police Escorts, Veterans Motor Cycle Club members and many admirers.

Along interstate 95 and route 476, many fire departments and other emergency services formed arches on the overheads with our Flag. Members from all emergences services stood at attention and saluted REAL HERO’S. These are the men and women who are the wind beneath our wings.

Waiting at St Kevin’s church were hundreds of family members, friends, music and neighbors lining the streets and the entrance to get a glance, wave flags and give their thanks as the vets exited the buses and entered the hall for a more music and a dinner.

Firefighters representing the Broomall Fire Company with Quint – 53 were Lt. Scott Russell, Peter Yannatelli, Anthony Schrader and Nick Price. Fire Police representatives were Captain Joe Veloric and Fire Police Officer Tony Cavarocchi.

So, once again, we get the chance to say, THANK YOU!
