PROUD GRANDPARENTS 

Frank and Helen Barnes started off the Labor Day weekend by bringing their grandson, Andrew Helms, to the Broomall Fire Station to see the Fire Trucks his grandfather drove when volunteering to help keep his community safe. Andrew, shy at first, was soon going from truck to truck sporting a bigger smile each time he got behind the wheel, (like grandpa did).  

Frank, a volunteer since 1960, and Helen were having a great time with Andrew as he went on his inspection tour of grandpa’s trucks. Who knows, we might have another firefighter in the making! Thanks for the visit and hope to see you soon.
