Marple Newtown Residents Can Thank Troops Abroad

The USO is offering a way for anyone with a computer to send thanks to troops both at home and abroad this holiday season.

For many men and women in the U.S. military, the holidays will be spent away from home.

For those of us lucky enough to be home for the holidays, sending these servicemen and servicewomen words of thanks is easy.

The United Service Orginzation Inc., or USO, is offering Americans the opportunity to send those in military service a little hometown thanks with the Thanks From Everywhere campaign.

You can write a message with your zip code and troops can sign on and see your support and encouragement.

"Your note of encouragement can reach our troops and touch their hearts wherever they are. They’ll be able to walk into any USO center and view messages of thanks from their hometown," USO's blog says.
