Photos: Kent Park Cleanup In Marple

Volunteers from Marple Township, Walmart, and Wawa were all onsite at Kent Park in Broomall for a spring cleanup on April 21.

BROOMALL–A crowd of volunteers were onsite at in early Saturday morning ready to clean up the park on Parke Lane and Cedar Grove Road.

Volunteers included local township officials, including the Marple Township Board of Commissioners President Michael Molinaro, of the 6th ward, members of theh Department of Public Works, about employees and family members, employees from and many more.

The cleanup lasted until 1 p.m., in which the cleanup focused on the playground area, debris around the stream and bridge and trash pickup to get the park ready for nicer weather.
