Santa Stops by Newtown's Tree Lighting Ceremony
Newtown Township held their annual tree lighting ceremony on Dec. 4.
NEWTOWN SQUARE–On Sunday, Dec. 4, the Christmas traditions began their yearly existence with the tall and proud Christmas tree in St. Albans Circle was illuminated. Thanks to what appears to be a prolonged, late autumn, the weather helped in creating the crowd that ushered in Christmas 2011.
Santa was once more the welcomed guest in this community activity. For 10-month old Luke Williams and his mother Caitlin Williams, this was a special Christmas. Santa (Luke’s father Jason Williams) also shared in this family fun time.
