BROOMALL–The recently received a generous donation from the Friends of Marple Public Library for new carpeting at the library.
The donation was for $10,000 to install new carpeting by the library's front entrance and children's wing of the library. In addition to this donation, the library has received a Department of Community and Economic Development grant from Rep. Greg Vitali (D-PA 166th District) to help fund the new carpeting.
The library plans to install the new carpeting this summer. Since 2004, the Friends of the Marple Public Library have donated over $80,000 to the library.
