  • Newtown Township Board of Supervisors budget meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 18. 
  • Marple Newtown Board of School Directors special meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 18
  • Marple Township Zoning Hearing Board meeting at 7 p.m. on Dec. 18
  • Delaware County Sheriff's Sale on Friday
  • Meet local author Mark Schaeffer at 7 p.m. on Dec. 16 at Newtown Library. Schaeffer wrote book the "Eve to Believe" and is originally from Newtown Square.
  • Gingerbread house party at 4:30 p.m. on Dec. 16 at Marple Library. Open to Grades Kindergarten to 4th, registration required! Remember to bring an empty pint-sized milk or juice carton. 
  • The Festival of Lights at Rose Tree Park runs every evening beginning at 5:30 p.m.
  • PRC Newtown Square Farmers Market at Mostardi Nursey on Wednesday 
  • Two for Tuesday DVD rentals at Marple Library. Rent two DVDS for the price of one. Two new releases at $2.12, two older releases for $1.06 or one of each for $1.53. Children's DVDs are always free.
  • Darby Paoli Road remains closed in Radnor Township.
