Trash Collection for MLK Day
Some Marple Newtown Patch municipalities will see a trash collection change on Monday.
Both Marple and Newtown township's municipal buildings will be closed for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Jan. 20.
Below is a trash and recyclable pick-up schedule for area municipalities for MLK Day.
Marple Township—Administrative offices will be closed on Jan. 20. Monday's regular trash and recycling collections will be collected on the next scheduled day.

Newtown Township–Administrative offices will be closed on Jan. 20. Municipal trash removal is not provided by the township. Please check with your private collector. Recycling will not be affected as regular collection is on Thursdays.
