There are lots of things happening this weekend. It's a weekend full of community events. Meet Phillies Manager Charlie Manuel and get his autograph or watch the movie Jaws in the middle of a vineyard. If vintage is more your thing, check out the grand opening of a vintage vinyl record store.

  • Where: Granite Run Mall, Center Court
  • Why Go: Phillies Manager Charlie Manuel and Davy Lopes will sign autographs for a fee in the Mall's Center Court.

Movie in the Vineyard: Jaws

  • When: Saturday, Aug. 17, at 8 p.m. Rain Date: Aug. 22
  • Where: Penns Woods Winery, 124 Beaver Valley Road in Chadds Ford
  • Why Go: Celebrate Shark Week by watching the movie Jaws...in the middle of a vineyard, totally safe and away from any real sharks. Bring your lawn chair and blankets and free popcorn will be available. Cupcakes and wine by the glass or bottle will also be available for purchase. 
  • Cost: $15, tickets are limited. Free admission for kids under 10 but registration still required. 
Elton John Tribute
  • When: Friday, Aug. 16, at 7:30 p.m.
  • Where: Rose Tree Park, 1671 N. Providence Rd. Media
  • Why Go: Endorsement by the International Elton John Fan Club this tribute band is not to be missed. Just some of the set list includes favorites like, "Rocket Man," "Crocodile Rock," "Candle in the Wind," and many more.

Body and Soul Fitness Group Kick Off

  • When: Sunday, Aug. 18, at 7 p.m. 
  • Where: Newtown Square Presbyterian Church, 3600 Goshen Road, Newtown Square PA (on the corner of Goshen Road and 252)
  • Why Go: Join Bryn Mawr Endocrinologist Dr. Cheryl Koch and Pastor Jeanne Thomas in a supportive, spiritual setting for a leaner, healthier you. For both men and women, learn about weight loss myths, discuss goals and eating habits and exercise together. Child care also available for a fee.

Vinyl Revival Grand Opening

  • When: Friday, Aug. 16, at 11 a.m. 
  • Where: 35-37 Lansdowne Avenue in Lansdowne
  • Why Go: Not an ordinary record store, Vinyl Revival offers vintage vinyl records, but also hosts music events, screens independent films, and sells handmade and up-cycled artful home and fashion accessories. Celebrate the grand opening with music, food and raffles.

  • When: Thursday, Aug. 15, from 1 to 4 p.m.
  • Where: 1 Kedron Ave on Route 420 in Morton
