Reminder: 'Fall Back' One Hour

Remember to set your clocks back one hour before going to bed Saturday night.

Written by Chris Taylor

Those 7:30 a.m. commutes will get darker before they get lighter. Daylight Saving Time ends this weekend – officially at 2 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 3.

Remember, you’ll “fall back” and set your clocks back one hour. Many electronic devices automatically adjust when Daylight Saving Time begins or ends.

When you change your clocks in the fall and spring, it’s also a good time to change smoke detector batteries and check to make sure device are in working order.

Arizona, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, U.S. Virgin Islands and American Samoa do not observe Daylight Saving Time.

It begins again on March 9, 2014.

Do you have a Daylight Saving Time routine? Do you change out smoke alarm batteries and check irrigation systems? Or, do you just enjoy the "extra" hour of sleep in the fall? Let us know in the Comments section below.
