Went to the final round as well as a practice round. It was an unbelievable experience. I feel veryRead More blessed to have had this opportunity. It was great golf, terrific competitors and a wonderful crowd. I give the week a 10!!!

I attended the final round yesterday. After being at Augusta and Aronomink the last few years, IRead More came away a bit disappointed. Mind you, I might have been a bit spoiled by those 2 venues. The course at Merion appeared to be a bear in its purest form. Not taking anything away from it at all, but for $300 I felt taken. Sight lines were severely limited, if not completely obstructed on a lot of holes. Navigating the course to follow one group was impossible at anytime on Sunday. The 113th Open might have been good for Merion and the game of golf, but for the paying spectator I beg to differ. From here on out, I'll stick to Augusta every year. No thanks Merion. You don't make my cut for an ideal site for the US Open. Next time you get the call I'll be on my couch.

In one respect you are correct that Merion is an old dog however you neglected to continue thatRead More although it is an old dog it still is capable of inflicting one hell of a bite! Just ask Mr. Woods amongst others.
