BROOMALL–On Nov. 14 at approximately 5:54 a.m., Marple police responded to the area of N. Sproul Road around Armenian Delight for a reported assault. Upon arrival, police located a man who was being held down by a woman. The woman told police the man attempted to break into her apartment, according to the report. The woman then chased the man to the area of Marple Tractor & Mower Services and tackled him. The man sustained facial injuries, resulting in moderate bleeding from the nose and swelling of the left eye, said police in the report. According to the report, the woman had just returned home from a night out when she saw the man urinating alongside her building. BROOMALL–On Oct. 27 at approximately 9:10 p.m., Marple police responded to Marple Sports Arena on Parkway Boulevard for a report of an assault incident that occurred inside the building during the Takeover concert. Upon arrival, medics were already on scene attending to a 15-year-old from Drexel Hill. The teen lost consciousness after being struck and was transported to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. According to an employee, the teen who hit the 15-year-old was last seen running out of the parking lot with at least one other teen on South Parkway Boulevard toward Sussex Boulevard in the industrial center. NEWTOWN SQUARE–On Aug. 21 at approximately 3:55 p.m., Newtown police responded to the 300 block of French Road in Newtown Square for a domestic situation involving a stepmother and a stepdaughter. Upon arrival, police spoke with the stepmother who told police she wanted her stepdaughter removed from the home. The 65-year-old woman told police she went up to her stepdaughter's room where a confrontation had taken place in which the stepdaughter had allegedly pulled the woman's hair, according to the report. Police then spoke with the stepdaughter outside in which she told police she had just come back from the hospital due to an asthma attack when her stepmother started arguing with her.
