State Police Offer Tips to Prevent Burglary
Following several burglaries in the area recently, Pennsylvania State Police offer tips to avoid being a victim of the crime.
Following a number of residential burglaries in the area recently, Pennsylvania State Police-Media Barracks offer tips to avoid being a victim of the crime. Several items were taken in two home burglaries in June in Marple Township. In addition, several business burglaries were reported in Marple in May and June. Another set of attempted burglaries at local businesses in Broomall were reported in July. In Newtown, police were on the hunt for a man involved in a daytime home burglary on St. David's Road in May. Burglaries that occurred earlier this year in the township brought residents together to create a Facebook neighborhood watch group.
