2 Injured in Sproul Road Crash Thursday

Two people were injured in a two car crash on Sproul Road Thursday morning, officials say.

Two people were injured a in a two-vehicle crash Thursday morning, according to fire officials. Broomall Fire Co. responded to Old Marple and Sproul roads at about 6:45 a.m. on Thursday, according to Tony Cavarocchi, public information officer for Broomall Fire Co. One of the drivers was trapped inside the vehicle due to the traffic light, according to Marple Township Ambulance Corps. Crews stabilized both victims and removed the driver's door to free the trapped driver, according to Marple Township Ambulance Corps. Both people were transported to Crozier Chester Trauma Center for their injuries. Fire police assisted Marple Township Police Department in controlling rush hour traffic at the scene.

State Police Report 1,494 Dec. Incidents, 189 Car Crashes

The Pennsylvania State Police-Media Barracks list the December incidents.

The following is a list of December incidents reported by the Pennsylvania State Police-Media Barracks. There were a total of 1,494 incidents in December.  Traffic Crime   State Police remind everyone to wear seatbelts at all times and obey the posted speed limit. Also, do not leave items in plain view in your vehicle and lock your vehicle and residence. If you see suspicious activity, please call 911.

Car Flips on Roof in 2-Car Crash on Sproul Road

No one was seriously injured in the two-car crash.

A two-car crash at the intersection of Sproul and Paxon Hollow roads Sunday afternoon sent both drivers to the hospital for observation, according to Marple Township Police at the scene.  No one was seriously injured and there were no other people in either vehicle, according to police.  The crash occurred around 4:05 p.m. Sunday near the TD Bank .  A red convertible landed on its roof after the collision with another two-door car. The second vehicle was quickly towed from the scene.  Patch observed a driver of one of the vehicles taking a Breathalyzer test. Tractor Trailer and Two Cars Collide on Blue Route in Broomall, Three Injuries Reported

Three injuries were reported at the time of the crash on July 9.

BROOMALL–On Saturday afternoon, shortly after 3 p.m., Marple police and the Broomall Fire Co. responded to the southbound lanes of Interstate 476 in Broomall, where a serious crash involving two cars and a tractor trailor were reported. The crash caused traffic to be backed up for about a half hour. According to police, three people were reported injured.

Overturned Vehicle on Interstate-476 Cleared

A reported two-car crash leaving one vehicle on its side March 18 has caused some traffic delays and a lane restriction on I-476 north.

At approximately 2:15 p.m. on Friday, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) 511PA traffic department has announced the two-car crash, involving one overturned vehicle, has cleared. Pennsylvania State Police-Media Barracks reported a car crash in the northbound lanes of Interstate-476 in Marple at approximately 12:45 p.m. Friday. According to state police, the crash involved two vehicles and one car was reported to be overturned on its side on the major highway. State police were on scene and, at the time, no injuries have been reported, said police.  PennDOT reported the exact location of the accident occurred in the northbound lanes of I-476, two miles south of exit 13 or US Route 30 (Radnor) exit. Drivers Injured In Major Two-Car Crash

A two-car collision on Parkway Avenue and Lawrence Road caused a road closure and major injuries to both drivers Feb. 9.

BROOMALL–During the peak of rush hour traffic on Wednesday evening at approximately 5 p.m., Marple police responded to a two-car collision near the intersection on Lawrence Road and Parkway Avenue. According to police, one car was coming out of the driveway of the Rittenhouse of Broomall apartment building when the car collided with another vehicle. Marple police said both the drivers were transported to a hospital. One was taken by ground by Marple EMS while the other, possibly a trauma victim, was flown by helicopter to a hospital. The crash left both vehicles facing the same direction toward Parkway Avenue.
