Local students from Marple and Newtown were named to Widener University's Fall 2011 Dean's List.
Widener Unversity recently announced Marple and Newtown residents who were named to the school's Dean's List for the fall 2011 semester. Dean's List students must maintain a grade point average of 3.5 or above on a 4-point scale and must be enrolled full time to earn Dean's List status for a semester. Those local students who were recognized for their academic achievements included: Widener University is a private, metropolitan university that connects curricula to social issues through civic engagement. Local students from Marple and Newtown were named to Saint Joseph's University 2011 Fall Dean's List.
Saint Joseph's Unversity recently announced Marple and Newtown residents who were named to the school's Dean's List for the fall 2011 semester. Dean's List students must maintain a grade point average of 3.5 or above on a 4-point scale, a B or greater in all their classes, and complete at least 15 credits to earn Dean's List status for a semester. University of Delaware recently announced Marple and Newtown residents who were named to the school's Dean's List for the fall 2011 semester. Dean's List students must maintain a grade point average of 3.33 or above on a 4-point scale and must be enrolled full time at the University of Delaware. Those local students who were recognized for their academic achievements included: The University of Delaware, founded in 1743, is one of the most popular universities in the U.S. The university's student body encompasses nearly 17,000 undergraduates, 3,700 graduate students and 850 students in professional and continuing studies from across the country and around the globe.
