ACME Supermarket Celebrates Grand Re-Opening
The grocery store showed off its new additions as well as made some community donations.
NEWTOWN SQUARE–Newtown Square's ACME formally showed off the store's changes after renovations with a political VIP attended ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday. Although the new sections of ACME, 3590 West Chester Pike, have been open for about a month, spokesperson Colleen Matijasick, the supermarket held an event to celebrate more food options. Those changes after the renovation include: The grocery store also made formal donations at the ceremony. Newtown Square Fire Company and the Newtown Public Library each received $500 checks -- in gargantuan form -- from ACME.
