The 53rd Annual Delaware County Veterans Day Parade was held in Media on Monday.

MEDIA–Delaware County celebrated its 53rd Annual Veterans Day Parade with thanks and honor to all war veterans, young and old. Veterans Honored, Thanked at Delco's Parade

Veterans from all wars were thanked and honored at Delaware County's 53rd Annual Veterans Day Parade in Media on Monday.

MEDIA–Delaware County celebrated its 53rd Annual Veterans Day Parade with thanks and honor to all war veterans, young and old. Thousands of parade-goers honored Veterans Day with the 10 area school marching bands–including Paxon Hollow Middle School–numerous ROTC companies, antique cars and war vehicles, local and state officials and of course the veterans, including those in Marple Newtown, on Monday. The 'New Greatest Generation' was the theme heard throughout the day. U.S. Sen. Bob Casey Jr. spoke to the crowd saying Veterans Day was about gratitude, gratitude for those who have served our country and their families for the sacrifices they have made. Arson in Car Fire, Drunk Broomall Man in Bala Cynwyd, Granite Run Mall Sees New Owner, and Archbishop Carroll Athletic Director Arrested

HAVERFORD–Albert Hufnal, detective for the Haverford Township Police Department, said there were no new developments regarding the stolen Broomall car that was set on fire in Havertown last week. According to a Marple Township Police incident report, the car was parked along West Chester Pike in Broomall. The owner reported the car stolen on Thursday, April 7, to the Marple Township Police, according to the report. The car fire that Haverford Township Police responded to last Thursday evening was a case of arson, confirmed Chief Deputy John Viola. "It was an arson. It was a stolen car. And it is under investigation and we expect some arrests," Viola said to the Haverford-Havertown Patch last Friday morning, adding that the black four-door …
