The State Police increased enforcement efforts between Dec. 31 and Jan. 1.
MEDIA–The Pennsylvania State Police in Troop K handled 45 crashes, with four being alcohol related, made 12 DUI arrests and issued 469 citations between Dec. 31 and Jan. 1. Troop K covers highways in Philadelphia, Delaware and Montgomery counties and numerous municipalities without police departments.
