See what businesses will still be open on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
While school will be out and most people will enjoy a day off from work on Monday, it shouldn't be too hard to celebrate the life and accomplishments of Martin Luther King, Jr. given a lot of places will remain open. Retail stores Most retail stores will be open. Government offices Both Marple Public Library and Newtown Public Library will be open on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Restaurants Most restaurants will be open.

What would you like to see at this West Chester Pike plaza?
This 1,600-square foot retail space near Newtown Square Shopping Center is vacant and Marple Newtown Patch would like to know what residents think should fill the space. Located across the Starbucks and Newtown Square Shopping Center on West Chester Pike, the 3511 space is in a small plaza. Also located in the plaza is Just Girls, Elizabeth Maar Boutique and Blush Salon. The space has several parking spots and signage.
