Completion is expected by the end of summer.
SPRINGFIELD–No one likes sitting in traffic but sometimes you can't go over it, can't go under it, can't get around it. PennDOT's roadwork to renovate the bridge located on State Road (Route 1) at Rolling Road started May 21 and continues to cause delays on a major thoroughfare to Philadelphia. As far as an alternate route, Media Patch editor Courtney Elko suggests, "If you're going from Springfield to Havertown, you could take Township Line/Rt. 1 to Springfield/Sproul Road to Reed to Glendale Road." Do you know another way to get around the roadwork? Project completion is expected by the end of the summer.
