Patch talks to Episcopal Academy's new football coach Todd Fairlie, a Marple Newtown graduate.
Newtown Square–High school football captain, all-American football player, pro-lacrosse player Todd Fairlie, 26, can now add one more to his impressive athletic resume: head football coach for Episcopal Academy. Fairlie is replacing Bill Gallagher, who resigned in November after six years at the Inter-Ac prep school. Fairlie was one of Gallagher's assistant coaches for two years. "I was able to learn a lot from him," Fairlie, of Broomall, said. "I'll carry forward with what we're doing." Regina Buggy, Episcopal Academy's athletic director, said Fairlie, a middle school teacher at EA, stood out early on from the other applicants.
