Double Edge Sports Grille Opens in Newtown Square

The new sports-themed restaurant will host a grand opening on Jan. 12.

NEWTOWN SQUARE–Double Edge Sports Grille, located at the former Winner's Circle in Marville Shopping Center in Edgmont Township, is open for business. The new restaurant opened the Wednesday before Thanksgiving but will host its grand opening celebration on Jan. 12. Owner and Manager Chris Knight says they wanted to wait until after the holidays to truly celebrate the opening. Four new owners, from both Delaware and Chester counties, took over the sports-themed bar and grille and took about three weeks to renovate and upgrade the facility. Azie Southeast Opens in Newtown Square

The new Azie Southeast, formerly Sang Kee Noodle Bowl, has opened in Edgmont Square Shopping Center.

NEWTOWN SQUARE–Azie Southeast has opened its doors in Edgmont Square Shopping Center in Newtown Square. The former Sang Kee Noodle Bowl has been revamped and the menu updated following the closing of Sang Kee in late August. The new menu offers small plates, Azie hoagies and, of course, Azie's signature fried rice. A few other menu items include: thai chicken wings, curry fries, pad thai, lo mein, wonton soup, filet tips and pork chops. A $10 lunch box is another option which includes a choice of soup, choice of chicken, filet tips, fish or tofu and rice and broccoli. (See the attached lunch menu). Sang Kee Noodle Bowl Opens Doors in Newtown Square

Sang Kee's fifth location opens on Aug. 12 in the Edgmont Square Shopping Center in Newtown Square.

NEWTOWN SQUARE–On Friday, Newtown Square gains a new restaurant—Sang Kee Noodle Bowl—the fifth location of Michael Chow's well-loved Chinese eatery. Owned and operated by Win and Sutida Somboonsong of Win Signature Restaurants—owners of Media's Azie Restaurant and Newtown Square's Teikoku—Sang Kee Noodle Bowl will feature many of the traditional menu items from Michael Chow's other restaurant locations.
