Compare: Irish Heritage in Marple Newtown, Greater Philly Area

Plenty of people claim to be Irish when St. Paddy's Day rolls around, but how many stick to that story for the Census Bureau?

Before St. Patrick's Day, we at Patch decided to crunch some census numbers to see which Philadelphia-area Patch neighborhoods are heavy or light on residents with Irish ancestry. About 17.8 percent of all Pennsylvania residents claimed Irish genes. The most Irish county in the area, Delaware County, also contained the two …

Selective enforcement!! 373 citations sure makes it seem like there is much more need for citation enforcement than the 68 alcohol and drug issues. 5 times more citations. I know the SCOTUS has upheld these check points, but I am always disappointed in the money grabs these tasks forces make.   more ›
