The water main construction on Route 252 in Tredyffrin/Easttown is scheduled to begin on Oct. 17 and may cause two months worth of detours and delays for commuters in Newtown Square.
PAOLI–Route 252/Leopard Road between Route 30/Lancaster Avenue and Sugartown Road in Tredyffrin and Easttown townships will be closed for nearly two months for water main construction, starting on Monday, Oct. 17. PennDOT says the roadwork will cause detours from 9 a.m.to 3 p.m. weekdays between Oct. 17 and Dec. 15. Commuters coming from and going to Newtown Square may be affected during this time. Please plan ahead and use alternate routes if possible.
