Broomall Saladworks: No Plans To Close Restaurant
The Saladworks in the Lawrence Park Shopping Center isn't closing its doors to their customers but may be moving to a different location in Broomall.
BROOMALL–Last month, the Marple Township Zoning Hearing Board approved Qdoba Mexican Grill's request to place a second restaurant sign at the current location of Saladworks in the Lawrence Park Shopping Center. Qdoba requested a variance to place a second sign on the side wall of the building with the main sign on the front of the building. However, Marple officials told Marple Newtown Patch that no applications or permits were received at that time for a business license. In addition, a representative from the Lawrence Park Shopping Center development company also said no official "Coming Soon" announcement has been made on Qdoba coming in. Thank you Patch for the follow up. That is real reporting. I love Saladworks and its Tivoli salad. I also love Qdoba and their burritos. Having both in LP Center will be great, and save me a ride to Bryn Mawr or West Chester for a steak queso burrito. I sure wish Newtown Square would wake up and nail down some of these excellent chain food services.   more ›
