PERSONAL: I am a lifelong resident of Delaware County, with a wide variety of interests and activities, including reading, writing, researching, running, biking, hiking, swimming, skiing, ice hockey, piano, guitar, banjo, many others. I have run a few marathons, done a few triathlons, hiked from rim to rim through the Grand Canyon, mountain biked the awesome desolation of the White Rim Canyon. I have played in various bands: R&B, jazz, square dance, country. I am aiming to visit all 50 states and have 45 at this writing.
HISTORY: I have a lifelong interest in history, as I grew up in an historic house, now live in one, work in one, and worship in a 300 year old building. I was the president of the Newtown Square Historical Preservation Society from 2007-2011, and have held various other offices before that. I belong as well to the Marple Township Historical Society. I am looking forward to writing more on what I find as I continue to explore the rich history in Delaware County.
LAW: I am a lawyer as well, educated at Boston University and in practice in Pennsylvania since 1980. I have a solo general practice in an old mansion in Bryn Mawr, handling real estate, business transactions, estate planning and administration, and a variety of other general matters. I enjoy writing about legal topics of general interest to the community.
