Shaolin Academy Of Self Defense, Neighbor

We teach Shaolin Kung Fu, which is the origin of all martial arts. What the really cool thing is we are the only martial arts studio endorsed by the United States Department of Education and Yale University.

Shifu Dan Simmons has been studying martial arts for 28+ years! He is a third degree black belt in Shaolin Chun-Fua Kung Fu and a first degree black belt in Shidokan Karate. We offer a FREE introductory lesson, which is a one-on-one with our Chief Instructor. We also offer a free group lesson. We have group classes for all ages, semi private lessons [1-4 students] and private [one-on-one] lessons.

We have worked with local elementary schools and local high schools to provide anti-bullying presentations. In addition we work with local colleges and large companies. Our studio has women's self defense programs.

All of our assistant instructors are trained in a two year academy as they learn how to teach children with ADD/ADHD/ODD, in addition they also learn how to teach children with mental and psychical disabilities.
