PennDOT advises motorists to allow extra time.
Bryn Mawr Avenue is closed between Route 3/West Chester Pike and Malin Road in Newtown Township, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
PennDOT says traffic is being detoured while two damaged storm water drainage pipes are replaced.
Traffic from Bryn Mawr Avenue is detoured over West Chester Pike and Route 320/Sproul Road.
