Bryn Mawr Ave. Closure to Begin July 8

A portion of the road will be closed weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through July 19, PennDOT says.

Bryn Mawr Avenue will be closed between Route 3 (West Chester Pike) and Malin Road in Newtown Township beginning Monday, July 8, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced.

The road will be closed in order to replace two damaged storm water drainage pipes, according to PennDOT.

Bryn Mawr Avenue will be closed weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through July 19, according to PennDOT.

During construction, Bryn Mawr Avenue through traffic will be detoured over West Chester Pike and Route 320 (Sproul Road), so allow extra time when traveling through the area.

The construction schedule is contingent on the weather.
