Gun, Jewelry Stolen in Burglary, Police Say

The burglar appeared to enter the house by pushing through a screen, police say.

A gun and jewelry were stolen from a Broomall residence recently, according to Marple Township Police.

On Oct. 2, a resident of the unit block of S. New Ardmore Avenue reported to police that he left his house at about 12:30 p.m. and when he returned at about 1:30 p.m., he discovered a burglary, according to police.

It appeared the burglar pushed a screen into a "florida" room as it was sitting upright next to a table and the master bedroom had been ransacked, according to police.
