Loose Change Stolen from 3 Unlocked Vehicles

Police continue to tell residents to please lock your cars.

Vehicles were broken in to and loose change was stolen from unlocked cars parked on First Avenue, according to Newtown Township Police. 

Someone entered two vehicles between Nov. 8 and 10 and stole loose change from the vehicle cup holders, according to police. 

One vehicle was parked in the driveway and the other was parked in the detached garage, according to police, both vehicles were unlocked. 

About $20 in change was taken from each of the resident's vehicles, according to police. 

While police spoke to the man, a neighbor came over and also told police that someone had emptied the change holder in his unlocked car over the weekend, according to police. 

About $10 in change was taken from that vehicle, according to police. 

Both men told police that they believed whoever broke in to their vehicles, would be back again.

Police suggested that they lock their cars.
