Purse Stolen From Car while at Gas Station, Police Say

A woman's purse was stolen from her car while she pumped gas, police say.

A woman's purse was stolen from her car while she pumped gas recently, according to Marple Township Police. 

On Sept. 6, a woman reported to police that she purchased gas from Broomall Gas on the 2500 block of West Chester Pike, according to Marple Police.

She walked inside the gas station to pay and left her purse in her car, possibly on the passenger side seat, according to police.

The woman completed her purchase, returned home and later realized her purse was missing, according to police.

She later returned to Broomall Gas to see if anyone had turned in a purse but nothing had been found, according to police.

The purse contained personal items, a wallet and credit cards, according to police.

Gas station employees were to check security cameras and report anything to police, according to police.
