Slain Rite Aid Manager was Broomall Resident, Haverford High Alum

Jason Scott McClay was a popular Rite Aid Pharmacy manager who was shot and killed during a September 19 robbery at his store in Chester.

Jason Scott McClay, the popular Rite Aid Pharmacy manager who was shot and killed during a September 19 robbery at his store in Chester, was a Broomall resident and Haverford High School alum.

McClay, 40, was the son of Margie (Jim) Reiley of Havertown and Bruce (Sherry) McClay of Havertown. He was the brother of Jessica McClay Frank, of Broomall, Patrick and Daniel Reiley and Bruce and Ian McClay, all of Havertown.

Jason was a 1992 graduate of Haverford High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving on the USS Kitty Hawk ,according to his obituary.
